Blanket Fort - Room 32

Courtesy of Collins, there is an abundant supply of food from the restaurant in Santa Fe.

There are cushions, blankets, and plenty of space in which to stretch out.

Outside the door is a sign: This is a Tofu-Free Zone.

And the door is unlocked.

Well, this is a situation that calls for hugs, certainly.

April wraps her arms around Suzi and holds her. "Hey... it's gonna be okay. We're gonna fix this. We are. He'll be okay..."

she manages after a while, leaning heavily on April and clinging to her in return.

"I know you do." April says soothingly. "We'll fix it. You'll have him back before you know it."

Maybe not that quickly, but... well, there are some things you've just got to say.

She wants to be soothed. She does, but its hard. She's never been in love before.

Its bad enough when someone leaves you because they don't love you anymore. This? This is ten times worse.

April can only imagine.

It's probably even worse, in a way, than having the person you love kill themselves and leave you behind. Not that April knows that feeling either. She was on the other side of that one.

She cuddles her, though. "It's gonna be okay. You're both gonna be okay..." It's a mantra, just repeating it softly in hopes that saying it will help it come true.

Eventually she'll have to leave the blanket fort and search him out to try to break him out. Eventually. Right now? She clings.

And smells rather like a barrel of rum.

A white head peers in from the doorway. There are more people he doesn't know than people he does, and of the people he does know, at least two don't like him.

Hopefully they'll be able to put that aside in the face of the common foe. Yrael thinks they'd just better be able to deal with him being there.

The white cat pads into the room.

"No soy-milk either, one hopes."

April can understand that. The rum and the clinging. And she is perfectly fine with being clung to.

It's partially because she's nice that way and partially because she's remembering how many people have held her when she needed it.

"I do not know much about what is going on, but it is the soy causing it. I do not know why, or what is behind it," says the white cat, sitting with its tail wrapped around its feet. The fact that he doesn't know bothers him (and his innate curiosity) horribly.

"However, Rachel, the woman serving the soy beverages, gave me the business card of her soy supplier last night." The tail twitches.

"I doubt it."

Jack inclines his head in a respectful nod.

"Good afternoon. There might be actual milk, if you felt like a risk."
